Motor City Mitten Mission

Motor City Mitten Mission uses donated plastic bags to create "plarn" (plastic yarn) for making durable, waterproof sleeping mats and pillows for the homeless in Michigan, diverting waste while providing warmth and comfort, a project that engages volunteers of all ages to turn trash into essential shelter items. See the Video Here!

We collect plastic bags each month for Mitten Mission.
