Environmental Awareness
Unity Church of Rochester is proud to announce that it has received the Green Star Award, an honor presented by the Unity EarthCare team to congregations that demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental awareness and stewardship. The award recognizes ministries that complete at least three significant Earth‑care activities within a calendar year, reflecting Unity’s belief in the sacred connection between humanity and the natural world.

​During 2025, Unity Church of Rochester fulfilled that mission through three meaningful initiatives. The congregation created pollinator‑friendly plantings to support local ecosystems, introduced a prayer and meditation garden table to encourage spiritual reflection on our relationship with the Earth, and hosted a Thrifty Threads fashion show promoting sustainable clothing choices and creative reuse. Each project invited the community to engage with environmental care in practical and spiritually grounded ways.
